If you want to:

  • Successfully identify and present the solution to prospective clients, resulting in a significant uptake in the market.
  • Develop relationships with multiple stakeholders through promoting the value of the solution and ensuring the adoption across the assigned region.
  • Be acutely aware of and ensure client satisfaction and retention, across territories and product verticals.
  • Co-ordinate the involvement of international partners and company personnel, including support, marketing, and management resources, in order to meet performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Own the responsibility of the client’s needs, expectations and requirements, ensuring consistency and accuracy of the solutions delivered.
  • Support, maintain and oversee the existing operations.

And you have:

  • Completed BCom Degree is preferable.
  • Formal business development training would be advantageous.
  • 2+ years' post-articles work experience.
  • Previous experience with working with financial institutions and/or in the in Fin-Tech industry.
  • Previous experience doing business in Africa.

And these essential skills: 

  • Technical inclination to understand how the software works.
  • Ability to use and collate data to produce valuable and insightful reports in Excel.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, standards and methodologies;
  • Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail;
  • Always learning and developing new technical skills.
  • Ability to interpret information and present in an understandable format.
  • Ability to assimilate and apply relevant business principles;
  • Understand various business processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise.
  • The ability to compile, analyse and interpret financial, analytical and other reports.
  • Is a self-starter who requires minimal supervision and takes high ownership of work;
  • Self-confident with the ability to perform sales presentations, a passion and ability to close prospective clients;
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively work with various departments and stakeholders across multiple level;
  • Flexible, adaptive leadership style, able to bring out the best in all team members and “Win as a Team” approach;
  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills;
  • Diligent work ethic and positive attitude;
  • A strong personality – able to challenge the status quo, manage a complex environment with a lot of different stakeholders;
  • Takes ownership of tasks, maintains good rapport within the team, provides strong contribution and feedback;
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain highly productive in a dynamic environment;
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality;
  • Understand the value of delivery on commitments;
  • Conflict resolution – must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches;
  • Strong need for excellence and self-improvement.

  • Experience with the below tools is not essential, but would be advantageous:
  • CRM system;
  • Microsoft BI.
