If you want to:

 

  • Seek out new opportunities in order to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets as per sales plan. Manage pipeline accordingly. Maintain relationships with existing customers to upsell products
  • Cold Calling and Real Opportunities Created with Proposal Values – 40%
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, sales contracts, follow-up calls and closed contracts – 20%
  • Sales Meetings Done (f2f, virtual or telephonically), Companies touched in one month – 20%
  • Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge and sell the benefits of all products through effective pipeline management (all product line targets met) – 20%
  • Facilitate and present CaseWare training to all new and existing clients to ensure client success
  • Preparing a variety of sales reports including activities, follow-ups, closings and adherence to target reports. Log every interaction on Salesforce.com
  • Utilize technology, data lists, institutes, influential bodies and innovative campaigns to hunt for business.

And you have:

  • Essential requirements
    • Completed Matric
    • Formal sales training
    • At least 3 years external software sales experience in a high-volume environment – as evidenced by at least 15 medium to large-sized deals closed per month 
  • Desirable Requirements
    • Completed degree is highly preferable Especially in Accounts
    • Accounting software experience
    • Selling in the African Market

And these essential skills:

  • Experience in demonstrating software to clients is essential
  • Excellent track record in solution sales achieving targets consistently
  • Good computer literacy in general and in particular with MS Office and CRM systems (Salesforce.com an advantage)
  • Good technical understanding of accounting and financial terminology a big benefit
  • Experience in presenting training on software products required
  • Good listener
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Articulate, with excellent presentation skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Well-developed problem solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Self-starter who is highly motivated
  • Proven ability to excel under pressure in a very busy environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects
  • Classroom facilitation skills required
  • Computer Skills and knowledge is essential
