Are you the CaseWare “go to guy” or have enjoyed working on the CaseWare software? If yes, then this is an opportunity for you to use your SAICA articles experience to make an impact on our clients.

If you want to:

  • Ensure that you are billable for at least 90% of your own working hours.
  • Perform work in-line with budgets.
  • Ensure execution of work in an effective and productive manner.
  • Ensure effective time utilization when not engaged in client projects.
  • Ensure that delivery meets customer and managements’ satisfaction.
  • Perform the review of the work of own and others for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure adherence to consulting processes.
  • Identify, manage, report and resolve any issues/potential risks that were identified at the client.
  • Provide information to keep clients informed from a software and technical perspective. Ensuring that the CaseWare client base is proactively managed, from a consulting perspective.
  • Ensure self-growth in the form of accreditation's.
  • Seek out ways to grow oneself and the team.

And you have:

  • Completed degree in Auditing and/or Accounting. If no degree, adequate practical experience in CaseWare, CaseView for financial statements and consulting.
  • Completed SAICA articles.
  • Working knowledge of CaseWare including Financial Statements.
  • Compilation and review experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (with basic control and logical operators).
  • Working experience in CaseView.
  • CaseWare firm champion experience in CaseWare, including Financial Statements.
  • Strong interest in both business technical and systems technical.

And these essential skills:

  • CaseWare Working Papers (must have).
  • Case View Templates for AFS reporting (must have).
  • Client management.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders (internal/external) at a very high level.
  • Accounting knowledge.
  • Report writing.
  • Excel / text data manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Self-motivated.
  • Technically inclined.
  • Time management.
  • Project Quality assurance.
  • Interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
  • Proactive.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Organised and systematic.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Client focused.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Problem identifying and problem solving skills.
  • Trust and honesty in the handling of finances or cash (including financial information).
